MNGN is a not-for-profit organization and conducts the following activities:
1. Organizing regular technical/business seminars, followed by business networking receptions (4 times a year)
2. Providing news and product information from the members on the MNGN website
3. Seeking to provide opportunities to collaborate with other industrial groups and trade associations
4. Conducting specific task force group activities (under planning)
Seminars
MNGN organizes technical/business seminars as its pivotal activity for members. We invite speakers from member and non-member companies who will share the latest information about their technology and business which is not readily available in the general media. The seminars will also provide the members with opportunities to exhibit brochures and products. Generally, the MNGN seminars are held twice a year in Tokyo, once in Yokohama, and once outside of the Tokyo metropolitan area.
MNGN Website
The MNGN website provides news and information from member companies. Even though individual member companies have their own websites, the MNGN website will offer up-to-date information about their products and activities focusing on micro & nanotechnology. The website also allows members and non-members to sign up for the MNGN seminars online.
Collaboration
Now that technology and business development goes beyond the national borders easily, MNGN will align with other business networks at home and abroad to help its members to find sales leads, interactions with potential customers, and opportunities for technical collaboration on a global scale.
Task Force Activities (under planning)
MNGN directors and members are considering developing task force activities on specific topics. Such activities may include analysis of technical trends, publication of white papers, and compilation of statistics.
